Description: 

Replacement of Structure PB011. The Work includes:

  • Installation of erosion and sediment control measures;
  • Removal of an existing 6.1 m span ( /-) cast-in-place concrete rigid frame;
  • Construction of a new 7.0 m precast concrete box culvert;
  • Waterproofing and backfill of the precast concrete box culvert;
  • Management of the watercourse during construction to allow the work to be completed in-the-dry;
  • Approximately 40 /- metres of roadworks, including asphalt removal, excavation, granular placement, and regrading of the roadside embankment to achieve a stable embankment;
  • Installation of precast modular block retaining walls and roadside protection; and
  • Restoration of the site upon completion of the Work.
