Description: 

The Work is the rehabilitation of Bridge 16 located on Line 2 North, approximately 250 m north of Highway 11 in the Township of Oro‑Medonte and includes the following:

  • Approximately 60 m of roadworks, including asphalt and waterproofing removal, excavation, granular placement, re‑grading of the road embankment, and the installation of new asphalt and waterproofing over and approaching the original structure.
  • Replacement of unsound concrete and reinforcing steel from deck top, soffit, girders, abutments and wingwalls.
  • Installation of steel beam guide rail and end treatments.
  • Installation of concrete curbs.
  • Replacement of concrete barriers.
  • Installation of scour protection and two stone revetment walls.

  • Restoration of the Site upon completion of work.
